The Estorick Collection is a family-friendly gallery offering free Family Art Days in the half-term holidays for adults and children to explore the exhibitions and permanent collection together. Pick up a free Family Trail to help you explore the Futurist art movement and portraiture in our collection.
Bags and Pushchairs: There is level access at the courtyard entrance for families with pushchairs or those who require disabled access. Locker facilities for coats and bags are also available at the entrance. Buggies and pushchairs are permitted to galleries 1-2 and can be left by the entrance at the owners own risk. Please speak with reception for assistance.
Nursing: You are welcome to breastfeed anywhere in our building, wherever feels most comfortable to you.

Family Art Days
These family-friendly activities will invite you to discover our temporary exhibitions through hands-on experiences, creative challenges, and interactive explorations. At the Estorick Collection we want every child to be involved in our activities and learn about our great collection, this is why our Family Art Days cater for all ages, starting with storytelling for U5s where families take part in interactive storytelling sessions inspired by our temporary exhibitions. This is followed by practical art workshops for families with children 5-11 to develop their making skills.

Family Trails
Pick up one of our family trail bags in the corridor between Galleries 1 & 2 and explore the permanent collection including our Futurist art, Morandi still lifes and much more! The bag contains a trail, art materials and some sensory items to make the most of your visit. This trail is designed for families to work on it together and might require parents’ guidance.
