Join us for a walk-in sessions on the work of British poet and painter Mina Loy and her connection to the Italian futurists of the Estorick Collection.
In this session, we invite participants on a Loy-themed guided tour of the collection, taking in key works which contextualise her role as an important member of the Florentine futurist set in the 1910s. We will then host a small workshop in which participants will be introduced to Loy’s poetry and manifestos, before being given an opportunity to apply her literary philosophy in poetry of their own.
The workshop starts at 18.30. Participants are welcome to join or leave at any time after the start.
