EVENT IN ITALIAN LANGUAGE
Join us for an evening of Italian contemporary literature, as part of the Puglian Italian Fest held in London in June 2026.
Gabriella Genisi, one of Italy's most celebrated noir fiction writers, brings her latest novel La Specchia del Diavolo (Rizzoli, 2026) to London as part of the Puglian Italian Fest. In this special event, she will explore the world of Chicca Lopez, her compelling and unconventional carabiniera, and share the inspirations behind her new noir set in Salento. Through vivid storytelling and sharp insight, Genisi delves into themes of identity, justice, and the complexities of contemporary southern Italy, offering audiences a privileged glimpse into her creative process and the evolving landscape of Italian noir fiction.
Gabriella Genisi will be joined in conversation by Giorgia Scaturro, multimedia journalist and producer.
