From Wednesday 16 December following government guidelines London will move to Tier 3. As a direct consequence of this the Estorick Collection of Modern Italian Art will have to close from that date. We hope to be able to reopen to the public on Saturday 2 January 2021.
The exhibition Italian Threads: MITA Textile Design 1926-1976 has been extended until 3 April 2021.
Organized in collaboration with the Wolfsoniana, Genoa, Italian Threads showcases 50 years of bold commissions produced for world art fairs, private homes, clubs and ocean liners, encompassing the avant-garde movements of the day from Futurism to Abstract Expressionism.
The Estorick Collection is a registered charity and does not receive public funding. Please consider making a donation to the museum and play a crucial role in supporting the Collection.
