Gino Severini, The Boulevard, 1910-11

Join us for an online talk and workshop that takes you on a journey to Italy, Paris and New York to learn about the lives of Italian refugee and migrant artists in the early 20th century. You will be guided in a creative art activity that will use Futurist artists’ multi-sensory approach to explore emotions and ideas reflecting on memory and place.

No art expertise required. A list of necessary materials will be circulated two weeks before the event.

Suitable for anybody (16+) interested in how art can represent experiences of migration. This event is run in partnership with Royal Holloway, University of London and in conjunction with the Being Human Festival.

Free but advanced booking is required. Please email education@estorickcollection.com or book online.
