This catalogue was published in 2008 to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Estorick Collection.
The origins of the Estorick Collection can be traced from the late 1940s, and its existence credited to the dedication and intuition of Eric and Salome Estorick who, in setting up their eponymous foundation, donated it to posterity. Since the collection opened its doors to the public in January 1998, it has established an identity that encompasses not only its collection of paintings, drawings and sculptures, but also the building itself with its galleries, garden and cafe.
The catalogue includes contributions from Roberta Cremoncini, Director of the Estorick Collection, Michael Estorick and Christopher Green, on Italian modernism. Also included are images of all the works held in the Estorick Collection, and biographies of several significant artists.
