Italy's Ceramic Revival

A selection of works from the Bernd and Eva Hockemeyer Collection of twentieth-century Italian ceramic art, highlighting Italy's rich creativity during the interwar and post-war period which saw the emergence of different styles, aesthetic ideas and concepts. All works in this exhibition are executed in the historic medium of clay and most, including sculptures and vases by Lucio Fontana, Marino Marini and Fausto Melotti, are being shown to the British public for the first time.
